The final report of ‘City of Almaty Sustainable Transport’ Project presents the goals and achievements of the project from 2011 to 2017, major conclusions and lessons learnt. The report reflects main Project’s recommendations for central and local authorities in regard with key city transport reforms: legislation, financing, planning and organization of city transport network, including measures to increase sustainable modes of transportations such as public transit, cycling and walking.
The publication is addressed to state authorities, managers and experts of city transport, as well as to all those interested in cities’ sustainable development.
