This new Manual provides the first methodology designed specifically for projects in the transportation sector. It follows the general framework, terminology, and principles of those earlier GEF modules. More importantly, it uses the lessons learned from experience to tailor these methodologies expressly for transportation projects. The methodology provides uniformity in the calculations and assumptions used to estimate the GHG impact over a very diverse array of potential projects.
